Several Takes and Mistakes
I spent the better part of an evening last week scrambling to put together a last-minute flyer design asked of me by Ocean Bar in Hermosa Beach. After much back and forth, suggestions, requests, and guidelines, I was finally told to stop work because another design had been made by someone else, and thus I was not reimbursed for my time. And to add insult to injury, I found the chosen design to be of poor quality AND didn’t follow any of the suggestions, requests or guidelines laid out to me. Here is how my design developed until I was told it wouldn’t be needed, and at the bottom is the design they went with.
